PAUSED since 28 July 2026: both virtual and physical cards stopped working after card issuing partner Kulipa wound down. Funds are unaffected — the card was self-custodial, so nothing was ever held by the issuer. Solflare says a new issuing partner is being integrated with the card expected in August; existing cards will not carry over and a fresh KYC will likely be required. Originally the first true self-custody Mastercard debit card on Solana — USDC was pulled live from your own wallet at checkout via signed delegation, with no centralized top-up or pre-funding required.

Card is paused as of 28 July 2026 — no transactions are possible, and card-linked subscription auto-renewals have stopped. Fee terms below applied to the discontinued Kulipa-issued program and will be replaced when the new issuer launches: no top-up fee from Solflare itself; 1% FX fee on non-USD purchases; third-party ATM operator fees may still apply; Solana network gas ~$0.01 per transaction. Solflare has stated the new program will add Apple Pay and Google Pay, higher limits and cashback, but exact terms are not yet published.
