Cardano CardCardano Card
VisaVirtual and plasticSince 2025Not open yet — a waitlist or a limited rollout, so nothing below has been tested by a real cardholder.
First-ever official Cardano-branded crypto Visa card. Distributed by EMURGO (one of Cardano's founding entities), issued by Wirex. Multi-chain support for 685+ assets, up to 8% cashback, Apple Pay/Google Pay. Announced at Cardano Summit Nov 2025; physical card available in early 2026 with limited stock; full self-custody integration scheduled Q2-Q3 2026.
The issuer does not publish enough of its charges for us to price this card. That is not the same as cheap.
Whether to take Cardano Card
In its favour
- Multi-chain: 685+ cryptocurrencies (ADA, BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, USDC, USDT)
- Up to 8% crypto cashback on purchases and ATM withdrawals
- Apple Pay and Google Pay supported
- Visa-accepted globally for online and offline payments
Against it
- Issued by Wirex — same operator with severe Trustpilot issues (1.2/5, mass account blocks, fund holds, inactivity fees, AI-only support)
- Brand-new product (announced Nov 2025, physical rollout Q1-Q2 2026) — limited real-world track record
- Fees and limits not publicly disclosed on cardanocard.io — only visible after KYC/sign-up
- Likely inherits Wirex's geographic restrictions
Also true, in its favour
- ATM withdrawals supported
- Backed by EMURGO (Cardano founding entity) and Wirex
- Physical card now available (limited stock as of April 2026)
- Borrow stablecoins using ADA as collateral (roadmap)
- Self-custody wallet integration on roadmap (Q2-Q3 2026)
What Cardano Card costs
Cardano Card publishes no fee schedule at all — not one of these charges is named on cardanocard.io. That is why this record carries no price: the ledger says so rather than estimating one.
Not published by the issuer: to issue the card, monthly, to load, to spend, per payment, fixed, to spend outside the dollar, at a cash machine.
Fees not publicly disclosed on cardanocard.io. Card is issued by Wirex, so fee structure likely mirrors Wirex (0% FX nominal, ~1-1.5% crypto spread, ATM free up to a monthly cap then 2%, possible inactivity charges). Confirm in-app after KYC. Up to 8% crypto cashback advertised on purchases and ATM withdrawals.
KYC: what Cardano Card asks for
A government document. Passport or ID goes to the issuer and to whoever processes verification for it, before the card is handed over.
Limits on spending
Cardano Card publishes no spending limits at all.
