Ready CardReady Card
MastercardVirtual and plasticBefore you continue. Sign-ups or card issuance are paused by the issuer. Cards already out may still work.
PAUSED since 29 July 2026: Ready shut down its card program after its issuer, Kulipa, wound down without notice. Co-founder Itamar Lesuisse: "We were given no notice, so if you were relying on the card today, you found out at roughly the same time we did." Eligible card subscriptions are being refunded automatically, and assets are unaffected because Ready wallets are self-custodial. Ready says it is building "the next chapter" on new infrastructure, but no relaunch date or terms are confirmed. Note the earlier shock: on 16 June 2026 Ready cut off card service for users outside the EEA with about an hour's notice. Originally a true self-custody crypto card on Starknet (formerly Argent), spending USDC on Mastercard rails.
53 of the 174 priced cards cost less. Among the 101 that ask for exactly as much identity, the median is $1.00.

KYC: what Ready Card asks for
A government document. Passport or ID goes to the issuer and to whoever processes verification for it, before the card is handed over.
Limits on spending
Not published by the issuer: maximum balance.
Confirmed on ready.co on July 31, 2026. A figure told to one person in a chat window is not a published limit, so it does not appear here.
Where it works
The issuer names no country it turns away. That is not a promise that every country works.
The other flaws
- Starknet ecosystem only — bridge required from other chains
- No IBAN account
- KYC required for card issuance
