SkyDAOSkyDAO
VisaVirtual and plasticSince 2025A ten-day-old Hong Kong Visa taking six assets including BTC, ETH and SOL, with a published ATM rate and an $80,000 single-transaction ceiling — and almost no other price disclosed.
The issuer does not publish enough of its charges for us to price this card. That is not the same as cheap.
Whether to take SkyDAO
Worth watching rather than committing to. The asset spread is wide, the ATM pricing is clearer than most, the single-transaction ceiling is high and — unusually for this segment — a deliberate sweep for harm reports in two languages turned up nothing at all. But it is ten days old, the only fee it discloses is the one you will use least, and its blocklist closes forty-nine countries including most of Africa. Check the list, then wait for a fee schedule.
In its favour
- Six assets fund the card directly, including BTC, ETH, SOL and BNB rather than stablecoins alone
- Both a virtual and a physical card, with Apple Pay, Google Pay and real ATM access
- The ATM charge is published as exact figures — 1.9%, plus 1.2% when the cash is not dollars, and nothing on a dollar withdrawal
- A published card-level blocklist of forty-nine countries, which is more disclosure than most of this segment offers
Against it
- Almost nothing is priced. The issuance fee, the top-up fee, the per-payment charge, the currency conversion on purchases and the monthly fee are all unpublished — the ATM line is the only fee SkyDAO discloses
- Ten days old at the time of checking, with no operating history, no independent review base and no incident record to read either way
- The blocklist is unusually broad for a Hong Kong product and closes most of Africa, the Balkans, Indonesia, Cambodia and Kenya — check your own country before anything else
- Only three deposit networks are published against six accepted assets, so how SOL or BTC actually arrive is not fully answered
Also true, in its favour
- $80,000 in a single transaction is a genuinely high ceiling for a card of this type
- No harm reports of any kind were found in English or Chinese, on X, in app-store reviews or on complaint sites
What SkyDAO costs
| Charge | What it costs |
|---|---|
| To spend it | |
| At a cash machine | 1.9% of the withdrawal plus a further 1.2% when the cash is not dollars; withdrawing in dollars carries no conversion charge |
| Total, per $100 spent | Not published |
Not published by the issuer: to issue the card, monthly, to load, to spend, per payment, fixed, to spend outside the dollar.

One fee is published and it is the one most issuers hide: cash costs 1.9% of the withdrawal, plus a further 1.2% when the currency is not dollars, with dollar withdrawals carrying no conversion charge. Everything else is absent. The issuance fee, the top-up fee, the per-payment charge, the currency conversion on ordinary purchases and any monthly fee are unpublished, so the cost of everyday spending cannot be calculated. One limit is published — $80,000 in a single transaction — and no daily, monthly or balance cap accompanies it. Forty-nine countries are excluded at card level.
KYC: what SkyDAO asks for
A government document. Passport or ID goes to the issuer and to whoever processes verification for it, before the card is handed over.
Limits on spending
Not published by the issuer: monthly spend, daily spend, maximum balance, cash, per day.
Confirmed on skydao.com on September 12, 2026. A figure told to one person in a chat window is not a published limit, so it does not appear here.

The other flaws
- No daily, monthly or balance limit is published — only the per-transaction ceiling
- The name implies a DAO and a token; nothing published establishes what governance, if any, attaches to the card
- No IBAN and no account details — this is a card on a wallet, not a banking product
