Tonhub CardTonhub Card
VisaVirtual onlySince 2024Your bank account is a smart contract. Tonhub does not hold a ledger entry for you — the balance sits in a contract on the TON blockchain that your own wallet controls, and the card draws from it at the moment of purchase. It is the closest thing in the TON ecosystem to a neobank where the neobank never has your money.
84 of the 174 priced cards cost less. Among the 113 that ask for exactly as much identity, the median is $1.23.
Whether to take Tonhub Card
In its favour
- Genuinely non-custodial: your account is a smart contract on the TON blockchain and you alone control the crypto balance until a payment goes through
- Spend directly from a TON or USDT balance — the conversion to fiat happens at the instant of purchase, with no manual off-ramp
- Apple Pay and Google Pay are both supported, so the virtual card behaves like a normal contactless card in shops
- Works online and offline anywhere Visa is accepted, exactly like any other Visa card
Against it
- The issuer publishes no fee schedule at all: no issuance fee, no monthly fee, no top-up percentage, no FX markup and no conversion rate appear anywhere on tonhub.com
- The 1.5% transaction fee widely quoted for this card comes from the launch announcement by the official TON blockchain account, not from Tonhub's own site, and we could not confirm it on a first-party page
- No spending limits are published either — nothing per transaction, per day or per month
- Only EU residents aged 18 or over can apply, which rules out most of the world outright
Also true, in its favour
- You can send fiat to friends and family using their IBAN details while funding the transfer from your own crypto balance, with settlement in seconds
- The whole flow is app-native: download Tonhub, tap Get Tonhub Card, upload documents, and the virtual card appears once verified
- Card settings are self-service — track spending limits, block the card and get transaction notifications in-app
- Every transaction and refund request is monitored by anti-fraud and AML systems, and the issuer publishes a plain-language security notice
- The legal entity is named openly: Walleexer s.r.o., Czech Republic, identification number 17989124, operating under Whales Corp
- Payments simply decline when the crypto balance is insufficient rather than putting the account into debt
- The launch was announced through the official TON channel, so this is a first-party TON ecosystem product rather than a white label
- Eligibility is stated in one line — 18+ and EU resident — instead of a country list you have to decode

Tonhub publishes no fee schedule. Its own website contains no issuance fee, no monthly fee, no top-up percentage, no FX markup and no conversion rate — the FAQ covers eligibility, ordering and fraud, and stops there. The figure repeated across the industry is a 1.5% transaction fee, which comes from the launch announcement posted by the official TON blockchain account rather than from Tonhub or its operator Walleexer s.r.o., so we have deliberately left every fee field empty instead of copying it. No spending limits are published either. What the site does commit to: the card is virtual only, works anywhere Visa is accepted, supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, requires KYC, and is available only to EU residents aged 18 or over.
KYC: what Tonhub Card asks for
Full verification: a document, a photograph of your face and proof of your address. The same file a bank opens on you, held by a company that is not a bank.
Limits on spending
Not published by the issuer: daily spend, per payment, maximum balance, cash, per day.
Confirmed on tonhub.com on September 7, 2026. A figure told to one person in a chat window is not a published limit, so it does not appear here.
Where it works
The issuer names no country it turns away. That is not a promise that every country works.
The other flaws
- Virtual only: there is no physical card, and the site does not mention one as planned
- No ATM access is offered or mentioned, so cash is off the table
- KYC with identity documents is mandatory before the card is issued
- The website is a single-page marketing shell — no fees page, no terms page we could load, no help centre
- No cashback, rewards or rebates of any kind are offered
- The card requires an active internet connection to authorise every payment, so offline fallback does not exist
- No Trustpilot presence we could reach and no published user-facing support channel beyond a contact email
- Repeated failed payment attempts can trigger additional security checks, and the fraud policy explicitly warns that suspicious activity is reported to law enforcement
