Cardtoshi

MastercardVirtual only
No KYCOperational

A $15 virtual Mastercard opened with nothing but an email, funded in twenty currencies including Monero on its own chain, with no monthly fee and no FX markup — the pricing page lists nine separate charges and prints $0 against every one of them.

Total, per $100 spent: $3.00per $100 spent

126 of the 175 priced cards cost less. Among the 18 that ask for exactly as much identity, the median is $5.25.

Whether to take Cardtoshi

Worth it if you want a cheap private card for subscriptions and online checkouts and you intend to spend what you load: 3% with no FX markup is genuinely low for a card that asks for nothing but an email, and Monero funding keeps the whole chain private. Not worth it for holding money — deposits cannot be withdrawn back to crypto, the operator is anonymous, and there is no third-party record of anyone getting funds out again.

In its favour

  • The complete fee list fits on one page and is two lines long: $15 to issue and 3% to load — the other nine line items are printed as $0
  • Email is the entire signup, and the FAQ names passport, ID, driving licence, selfie, proof of address and phone number as things it will never ask for
  • Twenty currencies on their own native chains, Monero included, so the funding leg can be private from end to end
  • No FX markup at all: spending in another currency costs the Mastercard rate and nothing on top of it

Against it

  • Deposit-only: crypto withdrawals are not supported, so whatever you load and do not spend stays there
  • No independent track record of any kind — no Trustpilot profile, no forum thread, no reported user history; Cryptwerk carries a 1.8-out-of-5 rating with no reviews behind it
  • Nobody is named: no operating company, no jurisdiction, no issuing partner, and the domain sits entirely behind Cloudflare
  • Online only — the FAQ rules out both ATMs and physical terminals, and there is no Apple Pay or Google Pay

Also true, in its favour

  • Three cards per account, each one freezable or cancellable from the dashboard with the balance returned to the wallet
  • A custom cardholder name can be set per card — the detail that decides whether the privacy claim survives a checkout
  • 3-D Secure works, which is why PayPal and Wise accept it; that is where most no-KYC virtual cards fail
  • No country is turned away, for the structural reason that there is no verification step to turn one away on

$15 per card, one-time, charged again for every additional card and every time one expires. Loading costs a flat 3%: put $100 in and $97 lands on the card. Everything else the issuer lists is zero — no monthly maintenance, no FX markup, no account creation fee, no inactivity fee, no statement fee, no 3DS fee — and after the $20 first deposit there is no minimum on top-ups. Spending is capped at $5,000 a month per card, three cards maximum, so $15,000 is the account ceiling. No ATM fee is listed for the structural reason that there is no ATM access: the card is virtual and online-only.

KYC: what Cardtoshi asks for

An email address, and nothing else. No document, no face, no address — and a burner address costs nothing, which is why the ledger counts this as no identity check at all.

The issuer names no country it turns away. That is not a promise that every country works.

The other flaws

  • 3% on every load is the real price: $100 in puts $97 on the card, and the $15 issue fee falls due again each time a card expires
  • $5,000 a month per card with a maximum of three cards, so $15,000 a month is the hard ceiling on the account
  • Whole merchant categories decline by design: gambling, adult, weapons, crypto exchanges and wire transfers
  • The minimum first deposit is $20, of which $15 goes straight back out as the issue fee
