XHYPE Card

VisaVirtual and plastic
Asks for everythingOperational

XKard under its parent's name: XHYPE's prepaid cards — virtual on every tier, a physical Visa from Premium up — sold inside the XHYPE Superwallet next to gift cards, hotels and eSIM, and issued only after an identity check through Verinex.

Total, per $100 spent: not published

The issuer does not publish enough of its charges for us to price this card. That is not the same as cheap.

Whether to take XHYPE Card

For someone already using XHYPE for travel or gift cards who is willing to verify once. Not for anyone who found it on a no-KYC list: the card is issued only after a passport and a selfie.

In its favour

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay on the virtual card from the entry tier up
  • A physical Visa and ATM withdrawals come with the Premium and Whale tiers
  • The identity check runs at Verinex, outside XHYPE's own app, and XHYPE says it receives only the result rather than your documents
  • The card lives in the same browser wallet as XHYPE's gift cards, hotels and eSIM, and the wallet itself is self-custodial — the private key can be exported to MetaMask or Trust Wallet

Against it

  • Not a no-KYC card: every tier, Essential included, asks for a passport or ID and a selfie through Verinex before the card is issued
  • No price is published — XHYPE shows each tier's price, recharge fee and annual limit only inside the Superwallet, and calls the tariff table still on xkard.io out of date
  • Verinex is run by MINTBLK Pte. Ltd., a Singapore company incorporated in May 2025, and its own privacy policy leaves it to the platform to decide what is kept and for how long — "your documents don't stay with XHYPE" is XHYPE's promise, not Verinex's
  • Money loaded onto the card leaves self-custody: XHYPE says card balances are held by an independent card issuer, which it does not name

What XHYPE Card costs

XHYPE Card publishes no fee schedule at all — not one of these charges is named on xhype.io. That is why this record carries no price: the ledger says so rather than estimating one.

Not published by the issuer: to issue the card, monthly, to load, to spend, per payment, fixed, to spend outside the dollar, at a cash machine.

Three tiers — Essential, Premium, Whale — each with its own price, recharge fee and annual top-up limit, shown inside the Superwallet after sign-up; xhype.io publishes none of them. The tariff table on xkard.io belongs to the legacy brand and XHYPE says it is out of date. The wallet pays for XHYPE's other products in USDT, USDC or a network's native coin on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base, Polygon and Arbitrum; which of these top up the card, XHYPE does not say.

KYC: what XHYPE Card asks for

Full verification: a document, a photograph of your face and proof of your address. The same file a bank opens on you, held by a company that is not a bank.

Account detailsNone — it is a card, not an account

The issuer names no country it turns away. That is not a promise that every country works.

The other flaws

  • No country list: the terms bar sanctioned persons and anyone using the platform from a "prohibited jurisdiction" without naming one

October 6, 2026KYC changedXKard is the XHYPE card now, and it asks for a passportXKard is sold as the XHYPE card, inside the XHYPE Superwallet. Checked 6 October 2026: XHYPE's FAQ says its physical and virtual cards "go through XHYPE's private KYC: Verinex verifies your identity", and before issuing any tier the Superwallet asks for "a valid passport or ID document" and a camera for a selfie. Until today this record said an email was enough and counted the card as no-KYC. XHYPE wrote to say that was out of date, and its own site and app confirm it. The card leaves the no-KYC lists, and the prices read off xkard.io are withdrawn: XHYPE now shows them only inside the app and calls the xkard.io table out of date.xhype.io
